How can I resolve sync issues?

If you are experiencing sync conflicts between Read It Later apps, the most common reason is caused by being logged into different accounts. Here's some simple troubleshooting to make sure this isn't the case:
 

Confirm that you are using the same username

In the Firefox extension:

  1. Open your reading list

  2. Click the settings icon to open the options screen

  3. Select the Account section

  4. At the top it will say 'Logged in as USERNAME'

  5. If this username is incorrect, click 'Logout' and then 'Login' to enter the correct username. 

In the mobile app:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap Options

  3. At the top it will say 'Logged in as USERNAME'

  4. If this username is incorrect, click 'Logout' and then relogin with your correct username.

Issues with shortened URLs and redirects in Firefox

If you are using Read It Later for Firefox, you may discover sync inconsistencies between shortened URLS and items that redirect. This is a known issue and will be resolved soon.
