How to Save to Pocket via Email
Saving to Pocket is as easy as sending an email.
Simply send any link that you want to save to firstname.lastname@example.org and Pocket will put it in your list. Please be sure that the link is included in the Body of the email, and that only one link is shared at a time.
The first time you send a link to email@example.com, you will need to confirm your email address. Please watch your inbox for a confirmation message.
Adding Email Addresses to your Pocket Account: You can save to Pocket from any number of email addresses. To add additional email addresses to your account, click here.
Problem: Pocket says my URL was invalid
Currently, Pocket can only save links from emails. It does not save the full text of the email itself. Make sure you include the URL you want to save in the body of the email. Pocket will save the first URL it finds.
Problem: I sent an email but the link never appeared in my list
In most cases, Pocket should save your link within a few seconds. However, it is possible that saving email may be delayed by a few minutes, or in rare cases, an hour or two. Please be patient, but if the links never arrive, please let us know.
If the link never shows up, make sure you check your Spam folder. If there was a problem with your email, Pocket may have replied to you. This email might have ended up in your spam folder.
Problem: I would like to save from more than one email address
You can send links from any number of email addresses. To add a new email address to your account, just go to the Email Accounts page.
Problem: I sent multiple links, but only one was added
At the moment, it is only possible to process one link per email we receive. If you send multiple links, only the first will be processed.
