Pocket Premium is an optional subscription that builds upon your existing Pocket experience, adding powerful features to help you do more with Pocket.

Pocket Premium gives you a beautiful, ad-free space to absorb stories at your own pace—and keep them for however long you’d like. You can capture ideas with unlimited highlighting, find exactly what you’re looking for with Full-Text Search, quickly organize with Suggested Tags, and so much more.

Monthly and Yearly membership options are available, and they renew automatically at the beginning of each membership period. If you do not wish to renew your membership, you may cancel it at any time.

Do I need to purchase a Premium membership to use Pocket?

Nope! Pocket Premium is not required in order to use Pocket. Pocket’s apps and extensions are free to download and use, and payment is not required to create a Pocket account and use the service.

How much does Pocket Premium cost?

Monthly and Annual membership options for Pocket Premium are available, and the price may vary based on your currency. To view your subscription price, please visit the Premium upgrade page.

How can I pay for Pocket Premium?

We accept most major credit cards via the Premium Upgrade page on our site.

If you prefer to not store a credit card with Pocket and have a credit card already connected to your App Store or Google Play Store accounts, you can easily sign up for Premium via our mobile apps and pay this way instead. Here’s how to do so:

On the Pocket website:

  1. Click your profile picture at the top right corner.
  2. Click Subscribe to Premium.

On Android and iOS

  1. Open the Pocket app.
  2. Tap Settings in the navigation bar.
  3. Tap Go Premium and select a plan.

Annual memberships will be charged once each year on the anniversary of your signup date. Monthly memberships will be charged each month on the day you signed up.

I use Pocket on multiple devices. Do I need multiple subscriptions?

One subscription is all it takes! Your Pocket Premium subscription is tied to your Pocket account, so you’ll be able to enjoy the features included with Pocket Premium on any devices that you’re logged into Pocket.

How can I use Pocket Premium on my new device?

You can enable your Pocket Premium membership on a new device by simply logging in to your Pocket account.

What currencies are supported when paying for Pocket Premium?

When purchasing a membership on our website, we accept the following currencies:
