Saving to Pocket from Feedly
Feedly provides a great way to view and share content from your favorite sites. Feedly makes apps for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire, as well as extensions for Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
You can save directly to Pocket from Feedly. Here’s how to connect and use Pocket in each of Feedly’s apps and extensions:
Feedly for Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox
When you open an item in Feedly using your computer's web browser, look for the Pocket button among the share options.
Simply click the button to load a Pocket popup that confirms, "You have successfully saved this item to Pocket". If you are not logged in to Pocket, sign in right within the popup to continue the save process.
Feedly for iOS
To save from Feedly to Pocket on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, Android phone or tablet, you will first need to connect your Pocket account to Feedly. Here’s how:
- Tap the menu button at the top left corner
- Tap Settings
- Tap Favorite Saving Tool
- Select Pocket
- Go to an article you want to save, and tap the Pocket button in the top right corner
- You'll be sent to the Pocket app to log in, and will be asked to allow Feedly to save links to your Pocket account. If you’re not sure what your Pocket email address is, click here.
Once you’re logged in, you can save to Pocket in a couple different ways:
- In the list of articles, press and hold your finger on the one you want to save. After a moment, you’ll see a “Saved to Pocket” confirmation message.
- Open an article, and tap the Pocket button in the top right corner. Again, you’ll see a “Saved to Pocket” confirmation message.
Feedly for Android
To save from Feedly to Pocket on your Android phone or tablet, you will first need to connect your Pocket account to Feedly. Here's how:
- Tap the menu button at the top left corner
- Scroll down to the bottom and tap Settings
- Tap Favorite Saving Tool
- Select Pocket; the popup will automatically close
- Scroll down to the Pocket section in Settings, and tap the "User" and "Password" fields to enter your Pocket login information. If you’re not sure what your Pocket email address is, click here.
Once you’re logged in, you can save to Pocket in a couple different ways:
- In your list of articles, press and hold your finger on any one you'd like to save. After a moment, you’ll see a “Saved to Pocket” confirmation message.
- Open any article and tap the Pocket button in the top right corner. Again, you'll see a “Saved to Pocket” confirmation message.
