By subscribing to Pocket Premium, you not only get access to a host of powerful features to help you accomplish your goals, but you also support our mission of providing a quiet space on the Web to capture (and enjoy!) the stories that fascinate you.
Viewing your subscription details
You can view your subscription details on our website or mobile apps. Click here to view your details in your browser.
If you’re using the Pocket app for iOS, you can view your subscription details by opening the Profile and tapping the diamond button at the top-left corner.
If you’re using the Pocket app for Android, you can view your subscription details by tapping the diamond button at the top right corner.
My subscription status says “Comped”. What does this mean?
Your subscription status will read as “Comped”, meaning complimentary, if you’ve received a free trial or membership from a promotion.
Invoices and Receipts
If you need an invoice or receipt for your Pocket Premium payment and subscribed through the Pocket website, please click here to contact Pocket support and we'll be happy to provide one.
If you made your purchase through the App Store or Google Play, you can view your invoice by logging into your Apple or Google account.
If you cancel your subscription, your Pocket account will be converted to a free account. You’ll still be able to use Pocket with the features and functionality that are available for free, but you will no longer have access to all of the features included in Pocket Premium. You also will begin to see sponsored posts.
Turn Auto-Renew Off or On
Pocket Premium memberships are set to auto-renew by default. If you’d rather not have your membership auto-renew, you can easily turn it off here.
Switching between Monthly and Annual Subscriptions
If you subscribed to Pocket Premium on our website and would like to change your subscription from monthly to annual or vice versa, please contact Pocket Support and we’ll be happy to make these changes for you. In your email, be sure to include your Pocket email address.

Canceling your Pocket Premium membership
The process for canceling your subscription is easy, and depends on where you made your purchase. Click here to to learn how to cancel your subscription.
Requesting a refund for your Pocket Premium membership
If you are not completely satisfied with Pocket Premium, it may be possible to receive a refund depending on where the purchase was made.
- If you purchased Pocket Premium through Apple's App Store, Google Play, or another app market, it will unfortunately not be possible to receive a refund.
- If you purchased Pocket Premium from the Pocket website, it may be possible to receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your membership period (as explained in our terms of service). If you would like a refund for your purchase, please click here and let us know.
What happens to my Pocket account when my Pocket Premium membership ends?
If you cancel your Pocket Premium membership, you will lose access to your Premium features when the subscription period ends.
